Recently, Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek was on an inspection tour of counties. The Pugh farm was selected for her tour as the outstanding grass seed farm in Linn County, the grass seed capital of the world.

Building a Legacy: Gary and Diana Actor Choose Culinary Program for Planned Giving

They may think they will, but it turns out most kids don’t really like chocolate spaghetti. That’s what Gary Actor found out when leading cooking classes overseas at schools where his wife, Diana, was teaching for the Department of Defense.

Childers and Selker Give $20K:

In December, Laurie and her husband, John Selker, donated $20,000 to Linn-Benton Community College’s Diversity in Nursing endowment. “In many ways,” Laurie says, “this is in honor of Ariel.”

Honoring Tim McQueary, LBCC Hero

Recently our college community lost a true champion of student success: Tim McQueary of Sweet Home, Oregon. Tim passed away in February 2021, but leaves an incredible legacy of generous support to Linn-Benton Community College
